About Ruchin Kansal

Ruchin is a faculty member at the Department of Management, Stillman School of Business, Seton Hall University, and leads the School of Business' Center for Leadership Development.

His passion lies in developing the future leaders of the world, coaching current leaders to lead with purpose and with courage, and shaping the future through teaching and advising on digital innovation, transformation and human resource/talent development.

His professional journey has included stints as an Air Force cadet, an architect, a strategy & transformation consultant with Ernst & Young/Capgemini and Deloitte, founding leader of the first Business Innovation & Transformation unit at Boehringer Ingelheim, and Senior Vice President and global head of digital strategy at Siemens Healthineers.

Along the journey, he gained global experience across North America, Europe, and Asia. He co-authored "Redefining Innovation: Embracing the 80-80 Rule to Ignite Growth in the Biopharmaceutical Industry," Routledge, May 2018. He has been invited to the Obama White House to share best practices for engaging patients in research in support of the Presidential Precision Medicine initiative. He had the privilege to serve as a board member for Stanford Medicine X (2014-17). He was recognized with the Top 40 Healthcare Transformers Award by Medical, Marketing & Media in 2016, and Boehringer Ingelheim President's Award for developing the company's first Patient Engagement Strategy.

He is also the founder & Managing Director of Kansal & Company, that focuses on helping companies plan and execute upon digital transformation, and become the leaders that they can be.
